General Information
Research Type
Observational
Description
With the aim to facilitate prediction of cardiovascular risk in clinical practice among people living with HIV (PLHIV), we aim to validate model performance of available cardiovascular risk prediction models among the PLHIV population in Malaysia, a multiracial Asean, upper middle-income country. If required, the performance of the chosen best fit model could be improved through model updating techniques. Furthermore, to understand the cardiovascular disease burden in these HIV patients, we seek to determine cumulative incidence and rate of cardiovascular diseases among PLHIV in this country.
